At The Literacy Light, we believe every learner has the potential to shine. Through structured, multisensory instruction, we help struggling readers unlock their potential, strengthen literacy skills, and gain the confidence to become successful, independent readers.
Our History
The Literacy Light was founded in 2023 out of a passion for helping struggling readers discover their potential. After years of working in education and supporting students with dyslexia, The Literacy Light was established to provide specialized, evidence-based literacy instruction that builds both skills and confidence. Through structured, multisensory approaches, students receive individualized support designed to meet their unique learning needs. Beyond direct instruction, The Literacy Light is committed to empowering educators with practical tools and strategies that make literacy instruction more accessible for all learners. In 2024, The Literacy Light had the privilege of presenting at the Region 10 Summer Dyslexia Institute, sharing strategies for effectively embedding accommodations into classroom instruction.
